Getting to know Terminal 4
Terminal 4 sits apart from the main Heathrow campus, south of the central terminal cluster near the cargo area, and it’s the quietest of the airport’s four working terminals. It’s home to SkyTeam and partner carriers including Air France, KLM, Saudia, Kenya Airways, China Southern and Vietnam Airlines, so if you’re connecting through Paris or Amsterdam, this is your terminal.
Because it’s physically separate, Terminal 4 has its own dedicated Piccadilly line and Elizabeth line station, unlike T2 and T3 which share one, and T5 which has another of its own. It’s a small but easy detail to get wrong if a driver isn’t specifically briefed on it, which is exactly why we ask for your flight number and terminal when you book, not on arrival.
Terminal 4’s location on the south side of the airport also means it’s often the quickest terminal to reach if you’re heading toward Windsor, Staines, Egham or Ascot, rather than the main M4 corridor into Central London.
